Action Sports Toys LLC is “putting action into action figures™.” Action Sports Toys LLC has created a sophisticated, technically advanced method of manipulating toys with unlimited movements, unmatched playability, freedom of expression, and hands-on fun. Michael Bellon, inventor of the Omnidirectional Toy Manipulator, has invented a Handle that will manipulate 2 toys in a puppet-like manner that makes them seemingly look like they’re moving on their own. The Handle Controller will move an action figure and a skateboard together or independently, this allows the toy to move with life-like movement and mimic the tricks pros execute.

Kelly Slater delivered hands down one of the best performances of his career in winning his 10th ASP World Title and first Rip Curl Pro Search. Pick your superlative – amazing, ridiculous, incredible, outrageous. He was all of them and more. How can a guy who is 38 years old be getting better? And what is he going to do next?
Who knows. (more…)
“I’m calling the ASPCA ASAP! And I thought Michael Vick was bad. Poor little Shitzu, that board slide must have broken his little spine, not to mention the mental anguish and embarrassment those Weiner dogs felt being someone’s Rollerblades.”
Dumpsters are cut, formed, and welded up from 14 gauge (1/16″) 25-35% recycled steel. When empty, they weigh nine pounds. When you get a chance to pick one up you will be impressed with its mass. The lid tiles are milled from a wood/plastic composite material that is made from plastic bags and sawdust that would otherwise go to a dump somewhere.

“Nowhere” (album)
Re-issued: 24th September 2001
Originally released: 15th October 1990
Oxfordshire quartet Ride quickly rose to prominence in 1989, driven by the chart success of its first three EPs, the intensity of its live shows, and a hypnotic and moody sound that presaged alt-rock’s ascendance. In October 1990, the band released its first full album Nowhere, a tour de force of intertwining guitars, intimate but otherworldly vocals, and open-ended lyrics. Two decades later, the album still resonates and remains one of the era’s high-water marks. Never originally released on vinyl in the U.S. Matches the original UK album with original embossed LP jacket. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl. 2010 was the 20th anniversary of the album’s release.
Vapour Train has one of the prettiest lyrics in the world – Simple!!!
I love those early nineties Manchester Hippie Bands like The Stone Roses, The Charlatans and the Happy Mondays.

Before entering art school next autumn, Rick sets out to spend the summer surfing at Hawaii. He knows nothing about the local habits, what causes him some starting problems, but by chance he gets a room in the house of guru Chandler. He teaches him the difference between ‘soul surfers’ and those who surf for fame and money. Also he manages to get the attention of a beautiful young native. (Features special appearances by real-life champions like Shaun Tompson, Derek Ho and others in many surfing scenes) For those of you who lived in the surf scene of mid 1980s, this film is a must see. I love the characters John Philbin, who played “Turtle” and Mark Occhilupo who is known as “Occy” – It’s so fun and crazy to think about those days.

The company name is a Thai word for happiness and balance. One of their company mottos is “Smile! Pass it on.” And the goal of their business is to make your feet feel like they’re spending a day at the beach.
Sanuk was started in 1997 by a dude named Jeff Kelley, who thought he’d try making sandals out of inner tubes and indoor-outdoor carpet. While that prototype doesn’t sound particularly comfortable, he eventually developed a smooth, stylish, durable flip-flop and started attracting the most chill group of partners and consultants imaginable to promote and advance his product line.
The cool surfer attitude of the company founders is evident in every model in the Sanuk line. Per the company philosophy page, they strive to make products that are as much about funk as they are about function. That eclectic style is clearly apparent in the above model called the Donny. It’s name comes from the great surfer and laid back life traveler Donavon Frankenreiter.
